Governance & Funding

The WNCHC is funded by the North East Local Health Integration Network (LHIN) to deliver primary care services and health promotion and disease prevention programs.

The WNCHC is a community-governed organization with a Board of Directors that holds monthly meetings with the Centre’s Executive Director. Members of the Board of Directors are elected at the Annual General Meeting, generally for a three-year term.

Funding

The WNCHC is funded by the North East Local Health Integration Network (LHIN) to deliver primary care services and health promotion and disease prevention programs. The WNCHC has a service agreement with the LHIN which includes performance targets, and reports its activities on a regular basis.
